Message it is very cheap and easy to do, as i just did it on my lunch break.

first go to homedepot or lows or whatever, and find some all weather/outdoor zip cords. the wider the better. these where under $3 and about 1/3 of an inch for like 15. and you will need some 1.25 inch maybe some 1.5 inch wire conduit tube. this 8' stick of tube was $2.80. yeah yeah i know, "WTF are you going to do with the rest of it after you use what you need?". well help your fellow Zer do the same if he/she needs a "lift" too.

here is the unfixed chin

now break out the drill and 1/4 inch bit and drill one hole close to the opening on the chin like here... and a few inches along the crack. (you can see it off to the left.) as your drill it, gently pull left and right to widen the hole for the zip-cord if you got the wide ones.

then if you have ramps this comes in handy but not needed. now drill holes above the crank that are right above the already drilled holes.

now feed the outdoor zip cord through the holes from the inside top one or inside bottom, through to the out side, and back in and in to the buckle. start with the one on the side with the smaller crack. then the larger one, and retug on the first.

depending on how hard you can pull on them you might get them tighter to the top. also try to use some plyers.

now if your crank is between the "mounting areas" of the front splash guard(the placed where the metalbrace bolts through the chin and to the splash guard) you will get the best results. measure the space between the plastic ridges and cut the pipe so it fits tight in there.

you might have to trim up the ends a bit, better tight than loose. then slide it in and take a look

ta da!

and after some touch up paint, all better.
